- USB audio interface (tested: Steinberg UR22, Behringer UMC202HD, Focusrite, CUVAVE)
- Headphones or a speaker on the interface output
How to set up
- 1Install your interface driver (from the maker's website).
- 2Set the interface to 48 kHz (Windows Sound > Properties > Advanced).
- 3Open the app, start the 2-day trial and pick the interface in Settings > Audio.
- 4If you hear clicks, use Stable mode in Settings > Audio.
Mac
You need
- macOS 12 or newer, Apple chip (M1 or newer); Intel Macs not tested yet
- Class-compliant USB audio interface (for example Behringer UMC202HD or CUVAVE)
- Headphones or a speaker on the interface output
How to set up
- 1Open the .dmg and drag the app to Applications.
- 2The first time: System Settings > Privacy & Security > "Open Anyway".
- 3Allow the microphone (that is how the Mac delivers the interface sound).
- 4Start the 2-day trial and pick the interface in Settings > Audio (Mac).
Android
You need
- Android 10 or newer, 64-bit, 4 GB RAM or more
- USB interface (tested: Steinberg UR22, Behringer UMC202HD, CUVAVE) + OTG cable/adapter

Questions about CARGUS Acoustic
Do I need a special guitar?
No. Any acoustic with a pickup (factory piezo, Fishman, active), plugged into the instrument input of a USB audio interface.
How does the free trial work?
Download the app, start the 2-day trial, type your e-mail and the 6-digit code you receive. 2 full days, no card. To keep playing, buy and type the serial in the same app.
How much is it?
€89.90, one-time purchase. The serial works on 1 device at a time (Windows, Android or Mac) and you can move it to another device.
Does my CARGUS Guitar PRO license work?
No. CARGUS Acoustic is a separate product with its own serial.
What about latency?
With a USB interface, about 10 ms on Android (CARGUS Core) and low latency on Windows and Mac too. You won't feel it live.
