CARGUS Guitar OS is a product of Cargus Log Ltda, a company registered in Brazil under CNPJ 21.298.129/0001-06, headquartered in Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ, Brazil (CEP 28035-301). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: cargusimports@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
Purchase data (name, email, billing details) processed directly by our payment provider, Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. Newsletter data (first name and email), only if you subscribe. Basic usage analytics (pages viewed, approximate country, language, referring source) to understand how the site is used. Support messages you send us by email.
3. Why we use it
To process your purchase and deliver your license and download instructions. To send product updates and news, only if you opted in. To keep the site secure and improve it over time. To respond to support requests.
4. Legal basis
Processing your purchase relies on the performance of a contract with you. Newsletter emails rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Basic analytics relies on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the service, balanced against your privacy.
5. Who we share it with
Stripe, for payment processing. Supabase, for our licensing and account infrastructure. A privacy-respecting analytics provider, for aggregated usage statistics. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers operate outside your country (for example, in the United States or the European Union). Where required, we rely on their own compliance frameworks and standard contractual safeguards for international data transfers.
7. Data retention
We keep purchase and billing records for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept in aggregated or anonymized form.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR for EU/EEA residents and the LGPD for Brazilian residents), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of these terms
By purchasing or using CARGUS Guitar OS, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not purchase or use the product.
2. The product
CARGUS Guitar OS ("CARGUS", "the software") is a professional guitar tone software product sold by Cargus Log Ltda (CNPJ 21.298.129/0001-06), Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ, Brazil, as a one-time digital purchase ("Founder Edition").
3. License grant
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use CARGUS on devices you own or control, for your own music-making purposes. Purchasing CARGUS licenses your use of the software; it does not transfer ownership of the software itself, which remains the property of Cargus Log Ltda.
4. Purchases and activation
Purchases are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Your license is activated using the serial code sent to you after purchase, tied to your device. Do not share, resell or publish your serial code — doing so may result in the license being revoked.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of CARGUS, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law. You agree not to circumvent the licensing/activation system, and not to resell or redistribute the software or your license.
6. Intellectual property
CARGUS Guitar OS, the CARGUS name and logo, and all related software, tone models, presets and content are the property of Cargus Log Ltda and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
7. Pricing and availability
Prices are shown in your local currency where supported and may be adjusted over time. Features described on this site reflect the current state of the product and may evolve between updates.
8. Disclaimer of warranty
CARGUS is provided "as is" and "as available". While we test the software carefully before release, we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every specific use case or hardware combination.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cargus Log Ltda will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of CARGUS. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
10. Termination
We may suspend or revoke a license in cases of fraud, chargebacks, or serious breach of these terms, such as unauthorized redistribution of the software.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of CARGUS after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Refund Policy
1. Our commitment
CARGUS Guitar OS is a digital product. Because it is delivered instantly after purchase, refund requests are handled carefully but fairly, described below.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If CARGUS does not work as described for you, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date. This is a commercial guarantee offered in good faith, in addition to any mandatory statutory rights you may already have under the law of your country.
3. How to request a refund
Email cargusimports@gmail.com with your order details (email used at checkout and approximate purchase date). We may ask a few quick questions to understand and try to resolve the issue first.
4. Processing time
Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method through Stripe, typically within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. Exceptions
We may decline a refund in cases of suspected abuse (for example, repeated purchase-and-refund cycles) or evidence of fraud. This does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under local law.
